ALBUM REVIEWS

Demo - 8
Who cares of the quality? (Ok, so maybe it's just me that doesn't) 2 early songs from Guy. I Wanna Rock is very similar to the songs off of Holy Danger's 'One Way' album. 'The Code Word Is Go' sound more like a song from a Matrix album. There isn't much high pitched screaming on this song either. Still both songs are enjoyable. Well worth having if you're a Guy Ritter fan.
Great tracks: I Wanna Rock

One Way - 9
Ignore the poor quality production and listen to one awesome voice in the making. This album is just a huge showcase for Guys falsetto voice. Highly underrated. Yes, it could have done with alot more money to back it up, but that's just life. If you can find it......... buy it!
Great tracks: One Way; Don't Slaughter Your Daughter; Where Would I Be Without You; Runaway

Stop The Bleeding - 10
Simply put "this is the best christian metal album you can get hold of". Every song on here is a thrash metal winner. From the high pitched Ready Or Not, to the growly Ark Of Suffering. If only all albums were of this quality.
Great tracks: The Threshing Floor; You Get What You Pray For; Ready Of Not; The Test For Leprosy........ oh... all 10 really!!!

Psycho Surgery - 7
Seven out of ten is probably a bit harsh on this album. The production is better than Stop The Bleeding and also the song writing seems more intelligent. But to me, this album was a slight let down because Guy really doesn't have enough air time. This album has one of the best songs ever written on it....... Broken Chromosomes. Even if the rest of the album was extremely poor (and it definitely isn't) it would still be worth buying just for that song.. "men fail me, but the Son of God savessssssssss"
Great Tracks: Broken Chromosomes

Pathogenic Ocular Dissonance - 8
By most Tourniquet fans this is reckoned to be the best. It is truly a great piece of work. Excellent song musicianship all round. For me, it was the same as Psycho Surgery, being that there just isn't enough of Guy's vocals on the album. To prove the point, on the last track 4 of the 5 Tourniquet members sing a portion of the song (even Ted (the drummer)'s cat got a look in!), and Guy only gets to sing a line and a half.
Great Tracks: Exoskeletons; The Skeezix Dilema

Diet Of Worms - 8
There was a lot of expectations when this album arrived on the scene. Both Guy and Gary, who formed Echo Hollow, were together in Tourniquet. Diet Of Worms is a good album, with some good tracks, but it's just not up to the standard of any of the three Tourniquet albums. However, Guy sings all the songs, which makes it much more enjoyable to me, so I rate it above Psycho Surgery and on a par with Pathogenic.
Great Tracks: Diet Of Worms; Sad

The Lost Years - 8
To hear Guy singing again and with Gary on guitars with him, it's brilliant, after 6 years without anything being released it came as joy to the ears! The track "Superficial Intelligence" is a good hard rock track with Guy sounding a bit like Guns N Roses' Axel. This is definitely the least heavy album that Guy has sung on, but if you liked Diet Of Worms, then you'll note lots of similarities. Awesome album.
Great Tracks: Superficial Intelligence; ADHD; 1973; Late Movie; What If

Superficial Intelligence - 9
Basically it's exactly the same as the Lost Years but with three different tracks. These three tracks replace an instrumental and two songs sung by Rafik on TLY. Of the replacement tracks one is a quite interesting instumental, and the other two are songs sung by Guy. Both Empty and Middle Of The Mind rock big time! and fit into the Echo Hollow sound as you would expect. Guys voice is as crisp and unique as ever.
